Silent Flair Cricket

This is a drinking game based on the sport of cricket. Its easy to play though, so you don't need any knowledge of the sport to be able to play.

The basis of the game is to count up silently as far as possible without anyone making a mistake. Actions are performed for each number and the game is played in silence. Players sit in a circle and count around in the direction announced at the start.

The starting player calls "To my left" or "To my right" and then performs the action for the number 1 (explained below) and then play moves round in the appropriate direction. Rules for actions to be followed are:

On a 'normal' number (i.e. not falling into the categories below) any cricket shot is performed, by waving the arms or hands appropriately
On a number that is either divisible by 4 or has a 4 in it, the cricket signal for 4 runs is performed (this is waving your arm horizontally in front of you several times)
On a number that is either divisible by 6 or has a 6 in it, the cricket signal for 6 runs is performed (this is both arms raised aloft above the head)
If a 6 is signal, the direction of play is reversed
If the number is both divisible by 4 or has a 4 in it and is divisible by 6 or has a 6 in it, then the 4 and 6 signals must both be performed. If the 6 signal is performed first the play continues in the same direction. If the 6 signal is performed second then the direction of play is reversed

Play continues until a mistake is made. Whoever makes the mistake must drink three fingers. Play then begins with that player starting again from 1.

If anyone says a number out loud or whispers to help another player, they must drink the three fingers penalty.
